YouPorn Supports Global Climate Strike With Energy Usage Tips
Today, in solidarity with the Global Climate Strike, YouPorn is displaying tips on its homepage to help users reduce their energy consumption while visiting the site.
According to the company, all energy usage tip graphics will redirect users back to the Global Climate Strike website so that visitors can learn more about the event that runs from Sept. 20-27.
“It’s going to take all of us to end the age of fossil fuels and solve the climate crisis,” stated the event’s organizers. “This week will be historic. In over 150 countries, people are stepping up to support young climate strikers and demand an end to the age of fossil fuels. The climate crisis won’t wait, so neither will we.”
“Young people have woken up much of the world with their powerful Fridays for Future school strikes for the climate. Now, millions of adults are joining in a huge wave of that will kickstart renewed action all over the world,” the event organizers added. “The urgency of the climate crisis requires a new approach and a just response centered on human rights, equity, and justice.”
