I got the idea for ‘ScrewberX’ after using Uber a lot for a month,” Vespoli reveals. “There were a lot of funny moments, with misunderstandings and/or stories about passengers being inappropriate or assholes. One day, stuck in traffic in an Uber, I thought, I’d love to do a porno social satire about everything I’ve experienced and heard.”
This movie speaks in the language of the young, modern porn demographic,” says Evil Angel Domestic Sales Manager Justin Rich, himself a Millennial. “For everyone in my generation, the fantasy is to hook up with their Uber driver or passenger. ‘ScrewberX’ explores the possibilities very creatively; I like that each scene is a vignette with a different story. Late for an acting audition, fleshy, pale Sovereign Syre finds herself riding with goofy, inappropriately forward Steve Holmes. A breakdown costs her the appointment, but an outdoor fuck on a secluded mountaintop makes it up to her.
