Porn Pedallers Invite U.K. Cyclists to 'Ride for Pride and Inclusivity'

 Porn Pedallers (PPCC), the British adult industry cycling club, is “calling on friends and fans alike to come together for a ‘Pride Ride’ on Saturday in support of LGBTQ+ inclusivity.”

PPCC joins Cycling U.K., Emily Chappell and Pride Out “in their call to get people out on their bikes nationwide on Saturday to spread a socially-distanced message of love, alliance and inclusivity,” said a rep.

“Our Pride Ride is open to everyone,” the rep added. “No bike, distance or level of sporting endeavor is stipulated. So, dust off your boneshaker, pump up the tires and hit the road in rainbow colors!”

In line with current U.K. guidance, Porn Pedallers is asking people to ride solo or in small, socially-distanced groups. Participants are encouraged to post their ride to social media with the hashtags #OurPrideRide and #RideTheRibbon4Pride.

Saturday’s event follows the club’s Ride The Ribbon World AIDS Day fundraiser and sees Porn Pedallers renew its commitment to HIV charity Terrence Higgins Trust (THT). Last year, PPCC rode a season of endurance events and raised almost $20,000 for THT to promote “better sexual health for all, fight HIV stigma and raise awareness of the fact that people on effective treatment can’t pass it on.”

Terrence Higgins Trust CEO Ian Green offered that “all of us at THT are so very grateful to the Porn Pedallers for their consistent support — needed more than ever in the current climate!”

The “porn peloton,” and cycling performer Tindra Frost will also be participating in Riding The Ribbon 4 Pride on virtual cycling platform Zwift on Saturday at 10 a.m. (PDT).
