(Hollywood, CA) Multi-award-winning prolific director Jim Powers was on stage three times at the 2025 Trans Erotica Awards (TEAs)—twice to accept awards and once to present one of the night's biggest awards.
On Sunday night, the TEAs were held at the Avalon nightclub in the heart of Hollywood. The star-studded, red-carpet event was well attended. The evening opened with live performances from King Noire and The Gurls. Domino Presley hosted the event again. Many awards were given out, and each one was met with raucous cheering from the audience.
Jim Powers was on the main stage three times. The first time was to accept the trophy for Best DVD Sponsored by Adult Empire. His GenderX parody “Gilligan’s Trans Adventures” won, and he was joined on stage by stars Ariel Demure, Brittney Kade, Kasey Kei, Lola Morena, and Cliff Jensen. The second time he took to the stage was when Adult Time’s Accidental Gangbang won Best Threesome/Moresome Scene for “Bachelor Party Surprise” with two of the stars, Brittney Kade and Steve Rickz. Jim’s third trip to the stage was to present the GenderX Model of the Year Award with Deacon White to Ariel Demure.
“This is hands down my favorite awards show. It’s so much fun and honors some of the best work in the industry. Steven, Kristel, and the Grooby team really outdid themselves this year. Thank you, guys,” says Jim Powers.
