Ricky Greenwood, Casts and Crews Celebrate Monumental Wins at 2025 AVN Awards
(Hollywood, CA) Multi-award-winning French Canadian adult director and writer Ricky Greenwood and his casts and crews have much to celebrate. They walked in with 57 awards and walked away with some monumental wins at the 2025 AVN Awards.
The 42nd Annual AVN Awards in Las Vegas kicked off with a star-studded red carpet, libations, a stellar show hosted by Blake Blossom and Alex Knight, comedy by Steph Tolev, and musical act Jason Derulo at The Theater in the Virgin Hotels. Ricky Greenwood and his casts and crews won many awards, some of which were presented on stage. Ricky went on stage twice to accept two of his three trophies for Grand Reel for Digital Playground’s “Gold Diggers,” Best Directing Portfolio - Varied Range, and Outstanding Directing – Individual Work also for “Gold Diggers.” The same film also won Best Three-Way Sex Scene for Kimmy Granger, Adria Rae, and Seth Gamble.
The Best Lead Actor trophy went to Chad Alva, who starred in his Dorcel musical “Alive.” He was there to accept on stage. The film also snagged the win for Best Music for songs from Queenie Sateen, Victoria Voxxx, and Chad Alva. Another Dorcel feature Ricky directed, “Amuse Bouche,” earned Tommy Pistol a trophy for Best Non-Sex Performance.
Ricky’s crew also walked away with awards. Kylie Ireland and Andy Appleton won Best Art Direction for their work on Digital Playground’s “Project X.” Matt Holder garnered Best Cinematography for Digital Playground’s “Dirty Cops.”
“I’m proud of my work this year for Digital Playground and how well ‘Gold Diggers’ turned out. I was also proud that my cast won awards, especially Chad, who won Best Leading Acting Actor, for which he worked so very hard. It was amazing for my crews to be recognized and win for their phenomenal work on my other DP projects. I’m also thankful to work for Dorcel and that ‘Alive’ won Best Music since everyone sang their hearts out literally, and Tommy won Best Non-Sex Performance. Thank you so much for everything, AVN,” says Ricky Greenwood.
