Jim Powers Receives Multiple AVN and GayVN Awards Nominations
(Hollywood, CA) Multi-award-winning prolific director Jim Powers has had an incredible year and has dropped some of his best work in the straight, trans, and bi genres. Both the AVN and the GayVN awards have recognized his hard work and creativity, with nominations for best-directing and many nominations for the scenes he directed.
AVN threw a very luxurious, well-attended nominations party at the Avalon nightclub in the heart of Hollywood that featured a star-studded red carpet, an open bar, and tasty snacks. Owner Tony Rios announced the top nominations, along with the 2025 trophy girls and the 2024 MILF Performer of the Year, Penny Barber. Jim Powers attended, walked the carpet, and enjoyed himself before checking out all his AVN and GayVN nominations on the AVN site.
Jim scored the coveted Best Directing Portfolio - Varied Range nomination for the AVN Awards. He also received nine nominations for the scenes he directed, including Best Blowbang Scene for DFXtra’s “Kenzie Tries a New Liquid Diet,” Best Double-Penetration Sex Scene for DFXtra’s “Making a Living Out of DP's,” Best Foursome/Orgy Scene for DFXtra’s “Lexi Lore’s Rebound Gangbang,” Best Trans Group Sex Scene for Accidental Gangbang/Adult Time’s “Bachelor Party Surprise - A Jim Powers Spotlight,” Best Trans Group Sex Scene for Gender X’s “Trans Rave - Scene 1,” Best Trans Movie or Collected Release for Gender X’s “Space Trans” and ”Trans Rave,” Best Trans One-on-One Sex Scene for Gender X’s “Trans Campers” and “Trans Slumber Party - Scene 4.”
