The Erotic Heritage Museum Gets ‘Covered’
HarryMoney’s Erotic Heritage Museum celebrates Martin Luther King Day 2017 in a mostunique way. Unfurling a huge First Amendment banner across the museum on January16th, this grand statement will cover a sizable amount of themuseum’s roof, specifically that part that faces TrumpInternational Hotel. As the museum’s DirectorDr. Victoria Hartmann says, “We want to serve as a reminder to ourpresident-elect that our constitutional rights are sacred.”
The Erotic Heritage Museum is located directly across thestreet from Trump’s infamous Sin City tower, on the corner of Sammy Davis Jr.Drive and Desert Inn in Las Vegas. Dr. Hartmann and her staff welcomethousands to their 24,000 square feet of permanent and featured exhibits eachyear. The irony of the two buildings sitting across from one another, one abastion of freedom and sexual education, the other the namesake of a man whohas threatened Planned Parenthood, among other federal institutions for bettersexual awareness and health in the U.S., is not lost on many.
The hugeroof top banner will be set across the museum’s roof at 10am on Monday, January16th, MLK Day and stay proudly in place indefinitely.
